Hot Melt Butyl
Novamelt® B29 is a single part butyl rubber, solvent-free hot melt sealant that has been specifically formulated for the manufacture of insulated glass units. Novamelt® B29 sets very fast, allowing easy handling and fast production of units.Features: Excellent adhesion to aluminium and glass, very low moisture vapor transmission rate (MVT), excellent UV resistance, easy melting, good flow, fast setting and low smoking. This product can be applied by using any standard hot melt extrusion machine.
Metallocene hot melt
Octamelt HM-22 is a hot-melt adhesive based on heat-stable resins and Metallocene Polyolefin. It has a short open and setting time values, good flexibility and excellent adhesion and wetting characteristics on difficult substrates like waxed paper and cardboard.It is extremely thermostable and possesses very high mileage characteristics.
